DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Administer to horses at the rate of 1 to 2 ounces per day. Each level 48cc scoop (enclosed) will hold approximately 1 ounce (28.4 grams). Provide 1 to 2 level scoops per day for mature horses weighing 1,000 lbs. or more. Usage rate may be reduced proportionately, based on weight, for lighter breeds, younger horses, ponies, etc.
Each two (2) ounce serving of HorseTech's GutWerks will provide over 50 billion live, viable yeast cells along with 20 billion CFU of live, naturally occurring beneficial microorganisms (probiotics). The probiotic strains and live yeast cultures used in Yeast+ have been selected for performance, viability and stability in equine diets.

What exactly is "yeast culture?" Yeast Culture is an ingredient produced by fermenting selected liquid and cereal grain raw ingredients with bakers yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) and drying the entire culture-media without destroying the yeast factors, B-vitamins and other fermentation products. It is used in a wide variety of animal feeds including dairy, swine, beef, horse, poultry, aquaculture and petfoods.
In manufacturing yeast culture, the following ingredients are used: Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast and the media on which it was grown consisting of ground yellow corn, hominy feed, corn gluten feed, wheat middlings, rye middlings, diastatic malt and natural sweeteners.

This is another great product from LTYH shopping. My senior horse adjusted to this with no stomach upset and his chronic diarrhea is much improved. He seems to love the taste. I also give him psyllium seed powder as recommended by Jini, so in combo the diarrhea is under control. Thank you so much!
That's fantastic Bettina! I'm so pleased for you both - great news. I'm sure the micro-milled flax in Sand Trap is also helping the diarrhea as it too is a stool bulking/softening agent. Pysllium, flax and chia seed are the best for bulking stool to relieve diarrhea. Then the soluble fiber also feeds the good bactera; so encourages them to grow. Which, as the gut flora improves over time, heals the root cause of diarrhea. Well done! You could also try the Profile Algal DHA with Flax and Chia, along with Gut Werks, and see how he likes that.
